Statement of Purpose

This is a blog for whatever happens to be on my mind... or the mind of other people. It could be called an experiment by some, but for the most part it's a sort of notepad for officially stating what I'd like to say.

There are several reasons for starting this blog.
1. It's an easy way to broadcast what I've recently discovered.
2. It's a great way to practice writing. Writing and/or vocalizing your thoughts or opinions on any subject really helps to solidify my stand on it.
3. Myspace blogging is hard to navigate and overly unsatisfying; in addition, it's related to a rather immature Internet social environment.
4. Xanga seems to be a little too monolithic and too top-heavy, especially with its recent add-ons. It's harder to be taken seriously on Xanga.
